Renovation
A flexible, innovation-driven environment supporting the future of flight.
Long Beach, California
JetZero, an aviation startup redefining the future of flight, partnered with Mark Odom Studio, now part of Cline, to transform a 32,000-square-foot facility adjacent to Long Beach Airport into an experiential Design Center and workplace environment. Designed to support collaboration, innovation, and rapid growth, the renovation reimagines the traditional aerospace workplace through flexible planning, immersive visibility into the hangar, and spaces built to accelerate creative and technical exchange.

At its center, expansive views into the JetZero hangar serve as a visual focal point, reinforcing a strong work connection. The workspace balances open collaborative areas with individual workstations, supported by conference rooms of varying sizes, stand-up huddle zones, and private phone booths. Anchoring the space, the Design Hub serves as a flexible environment, with movable walls and screens that allow it to function as three separate areas or open into one large gathering space.
The renovation of the Long Beach facility is expected to last six months. Work on the new headquarters building to support the advanced manufacturing and assembly facility in Greensboro, North Carolina where it’s revolutionary Z4 aircraft will be produced is also currently in design and will be announced soon.
