JetZero Undergoes Renovation of Long Beach Design Center

Mark Odom Studio, a Cline Company, Collaborates with JetZero on the Design of Long Beach Design Center and Renovated Headquarters Building in Greensboro, NC

Long Beach, CA, (April 29, 2026) JetZero, a pioneering startup in the aviation industry, taps Austin-based Mark Odom Studio, a Cline Company, to collaborate on the design and renovation of its Design Center in Long Beach, Calif., adjacent to the Long Beach Airport terminal. The team is also leading the design of its new headquarters building to support the advanced manufacturing and assembly facility in Greensboro, NC, where its revolutionary Z4 aircraft will be produced.

The award-winning firm will bring its multidisciplinary architecture and design expertise to both projects, creating environments that reflect JetZero’s mission to redefine aviation through efficiency, sustainability, and cutting-edge engineering. The result will be an experiential workplace that moves beyond the traditional aerospace office model, providing an innovative setting for employees and future stakeholders that reflects JetZero’s forward-thinking approach to flight.

The renovation of the Long Beach facility is set to begin in late summer, transforming a 32,000-square-foot space through a comprehensive experiential redesign. Working in close collaboration with JetZero, the project aims to support the company’s expanding team and evolving operational needs.

“At JetZero, we view the workplace as a strategic engine for innovation—not just a container for it,” says Dario Antonioni, Executive Creative Director, JetZero.

“We approached Mark Odom Studio to help design and engineer these environments that collapse the distance between disciplines, where engineering, design, and manufacturing operate in visible, shared proximity. These spaces are intentionally crafted to accelerate decision-making, increase creative velocity, and reinforce a culture of ownership and pride. From Long Beach to Greensboro, we’re building a new model for how aerospace teams work together—one where the environment itself becomes a catalyst for breakthrough thinking and collaboration.”

The new design embraces a sleek, modern-industrial aesthetic, softened by warm, layered elements of wood finishes, abundant natural light, and subtle biophilic accents. At its center, expansive views into the JetZero hangar serve as a visual focal point, reinforcing a strong work connection.

The workspace balances open collaborative areas with individual workstations, supported by conference rooms of varying sizes, stand-up huddle zones, and private phone booths. Anchoring the space, the Design Hub serves as a flexible environment, with movable walls and screens that allow it to function as three separate areas or open into one large gathering space.

“We worked closely with JetZero on this renovation plan, aligning with the team’s ambitious design goals and forward-looking vision. Our approach embodies the company’s pioneering ingenuity and commitment to innovation, creating a new and inspiring hub for a growing staff and the company’s longstanding future,” says Jed Duhon, Principal, Mark Odom Studio, a Cline Company.
